Brian came into our program as a result of a rocket attack on September 11, 2004. It is reported that he is the most seriously wounded, combat-injured Security Forces member since Vietnam.

On November 15 2004, Brian and "Nikki" were married.

First Visit with Brian. On Friday, October 29, 2004, Eagle Chapter Chairman, Lee Chambers, visited Brian at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  Brian asked us to pass on his thanks to all of the people who have expressed their support and prayed for his recovery. Brian's morale is very high. He and his fiancé are planning to get married very soon.

In the photo at below right, Lee is accompanied during the visit with Brian by our first Proud Warrior honoree, Senior Airman Anthony (Tony) Pizzifred.

In photo below, Lee accompanies Tony on a visit with Brian. Eagle Chapter's Proud Warrior Program is supported by member donations and activities that are sponsored to raise money for this program on behalf of all serious combat-injured Airman that are medically evacuated from the war zone and are hospitalized at Walter Reed (usually for amputation care).
